B2B Matchmaking: Viotech Consulting Facilitates Partnership Between Tianjin Flavor Company and Belarusian Dairy Plants

In the dynamic landscape of international business, forging strategic partnerships across borders is essential for growth and innovation. Commissioned by a ministry official from Tianjin's Industrial and Information Technology Department,  Viotech consultants have been tasked with assisting a manufacturer in Tianjin specializing in the research and production of edible flavor to find suppliers of Belarusian milk powder.

Background: The edible flavor manufacturer, currently sourcing its primary raw materials from Australia and catering primarily to business-to-business (B2B) clients with a monthly consumption of 25 tons, is poised for expansion. With strong government support and potential investment, there is a growing demand for stable, long-term dairy suppliers to meet the increased production scale.

Initial Steps: Upon receiving the commission, We conducted preliminary research and screening of potential dairy plant in Belarus. Out of the initial pool of 7 candidates, the Tianjin company selected 3 for further consideration. However, communication challenges arose due to language barriers, prompting we to seek assistance from The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus in the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the People’s Republic of China.

Building Bridges with Belarusian Dairy Plants: With the invaluable assistance of Mr. Uladzimir, a counselor at the Belarusian embassy, we successfully established initial contact with 7 dairy plants in Belarus. Through online meetings and discussions, including Babushkina Krynka, Milkavita, Bellakt, Slutsk cheese-making plant, Branch “Lepel MKK” of JSC “Vitebsk”, Molochny Mir, and Lida Milk Plant, both parties delved into product offerings, business operations, and collaboration interests.

Next Steps: The Tianjin flavor company is now preparing to embark on personal visits and tours of the 7 selected dairy plants in Belarus. These visits will provide firsthand insights into the facilities, capabilities, and quality standards of the potential suppliers, ultimately leading to the final selection of partners.

Continued Progress: As the project continues to unfold, Viotech Consulting remains committed to providing updates and support throughout the journey. Stay tuned for further developments as we navigate the path towards strengthening international partnerships and driving mutual success in the food industry.
